Could be one of those odd knockoffs that have been made over the years as well - unfortunately it's kind of hard to recognize those. I, however, am no expert. I'm thinking our resident experts would be Dollykim who probably has one of every 1/6 ever made or KDbunchanumbers who is also into the vintage 1/6 stuff. He's in Australia though, so probably won't see this until later :)

Hmmmm, she's ALMOST looks like a Tressy, except her neck isn't a part of her head sculpt and such...

Hmmmm, if the body was hollow and has no markings I assume she's a clone doll though, because even the more official Barbie knock off dolls like Sindy and Tressy and such have solid bodies. Though it's definitely vintage with the way the hair is rooted and I think the face has a more handpainted/airbrushed look than modern clones. But don't despair about her being a clone since there's a huge following for vintage clone dolls... (I have one and people adore my lil Carrie)

Also, about her dress, if it has velcro it's not vintage. But if it does have snaps I definitely think it could be her original dress...

(Apologies for being so vague, but clone dolls aren't my strong point in the vintage knowledge...)

I'd say she looks like a Tressy with a hair cut. What kind of joints does she have?

The mold doesn't match anything close to Mattel, I have a vintage Skipper and she had the same face for a very long time until she went Takara looking around 1990.

Well, Tressy's neck is part of her headsculpt while this doll's head is just... well, neckless. I honestly think it's a vintage clone doll.
