@Wardah Yep! Dun post much over there though. Need to actually finish some customs first xD

My friend's daughter gave me a couple of the G3 ponies last week, been cleaning them up and deciding what to do with them, since most are really cute and I feel weird stripping the paint off of something thats not all that beat up. And here I thought I could make 'Harvey' some friends.... (SDCC 2009 pony, if you've seen one you know why her nickname is Harvey Dent)

Current customs to work on though are all G1 versions of the cartoon characters :3 Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy just need their hair, and Derpy Hooves/Ditzy Doo next on the list. Plus a pony for the girl that gave me the G3s, a Moondancer turned into a wild snowflake pony.

I got three knock off DDung/Pony sets mostly because two of them came with ones with the G3 mold but shrunk down to about G4 size. It's quite amazing actually. The third pony comes with scary eyes and molded underwear O_o

I found a few of my ponies in my closet, the rest must still be in a tote out in the storage above the garage. I'll post the ones I found later tonight. :) Not sure how they got in the closet and the others didn't...since I know that not all my favorites are there. Then again I have tons of old toys that need to be gone through....

Well I finally dug out my ponies, and tried to clean them up a bit and get a good picture of the lot of them (with their marks showing.) I have no idea who any of them are and would love a pointer or two on identifying them! :) These ponies need a new home (I rescued them from the dumpster when I cleaned out my garage) so I want to make sure I can identify them!

Thanks so much skookum hime! I had no idea such a handy guide was available :) These little guys bring back so many memories. The little yellow one with the hot air balloon and the wings was my favorite growing up... D'aawww, her name is Baby Lofty according to this guide ^^ interesting to find that out after so many years.

Wow! A lot of those ponies look like they're in really good condition! Try selling them on Ebay. From what I've seen, 1st gens often go for a pretty good selling price. I've been eyeballing one of my childhood favorites, a bright yellow Twice-as-fancy pegasus called Dancing Butterflies (or something along those lines). Cheapest I've seen her going for (and this is just in okay condition) is $15.00, and that's just as a starting bid.

Might be worth checking out.

twice as fancy Dancing Butterflies is hard to acquire on a low budget. Both me and my friend want one.

Oh thanks for the tip Stormlight! I actually would just be happy if all these ponies found a loving home :) They are full of amazing memories for me, but just don't have a place in my life anymore.

I gave them all a bath and brushed their manes and tails to make them extra pretty for their picture :) But the flocked one on the far right need some serious help O_o I was too nervous to wash her because I didn't want to rub off the flocking. Does anyone have tips for washing the flocked ponies? She's dirty and moldy smelling so she definitely needs it!
