then a couple years ago I ran across a fascinating anime series ... about magical bjd's fighting each other because the last survivor got to become a "real" girl
... it got me interested in bjd's ... and I decided to get one for myself ... my Mio
since there is more that one meaning to the word "Mio" ... her name is written with the kanji for "beautiful cherry blossom"
