since the question was brought up in my saying hi post ... about was my Mio a regular model ... or a limited

I decided to post a couple of the limited edition models Iple stopped making back in October

the first is an EID "Luna" ... and the second is an EID "Yur" ... both 65cm ... both were from the "Noctarcana Circus" series of limited edition dolls Iple made for a while

I <3 non limited Luna actually, I just sometimes have a hard time telling which Luna they are.

no problem :D

I thought people might like a look at some of the past and present Iple EID limited editions :D

Iple isnt as much for it as some companies seem to be ... with some companies, that seems to be mainly all they do is limited editions

Y'know, my 1/4 Iplehouse Benny is from the LE run of those, but you'd never know since she doesn't have the default faceup or the LE clothing. As far as I can tell, unless you buy the full package there really isn't much of a difference between an LE and a Non-LE :)

I, personally, hate LEs - too high a price - too short a selling time - too unfair to most doll fans.

Ugh my next doll is going to be an Iplehouse Akando.... but living on a fixed income, with a household to support, I'm lucky to afford my three ResinSouls. Just placed the order for the body for the floating head through DDE. My hubby owes me money, but he can't pay me back til he's working again, which won't be for another month or two. After I pay off the RS body, I'll be able to start saving again. I wish I could've afforded the LE Arvid fullset. He would've been the perfect shell for my demon-slayer character... ironically named Hunter.

there isnt much .... other than the particular face of the LE ... you are right ... to get the full effect of the LE you have to get the whole package

and yeah the LE's ARE expensive

though I have to admit ... had they still been available, the Luna I would have gotten would have been the catgirl

but I am perfectly happy with my Mio now :-) .... I chose her because of the quiet smile she had, and I have been very happy with her :D

I can understand THAT feeling very well :(

most of us disabled vets dont get much ... my Mio was a VERY major purchase for me ... I'm saving up now to get a few more things for her

I had a choice ... I could only afford to get just one doll ... and unless I win a lottery or something ... Mio will be my only doll ... I'm not upset about that, not at all :D ... it lets me focus all of my attention on just her, and I havent known too many girls who didnt like it best when they were the center of attention :D

You were smart, Luna is on my drool worthy list but probably will never happen. So needless to say I've been haunting more photos of Luna. I can't wait to see tons of photos of yours.

Oh how I love the styling on the Elemental Guardians. I have no real urge to own Iplehouse dolls myself, but I enjoy looking at their pictures. So nice.
