I was like how can you tell what your doll likes, but Amelia has already decided to tell me what kind of things she likes to wear. She loves the blonde mohair wig, and so far she likes a white top and her stockings. But other then that she doesn't seem to like the loli clothing I got her!

Amazing, isn't it? And yet, if you put the same clothing/wigs on another doll of the exact same sculpt - that one will love the things yours hates O.O; We can but bow to the whims of our dolls.

All I can say right now is thank god there is a swap meet at the Dairyland mega meet I'm going to next month, maybe I'll be able to scrounge some decent clothing that she actually likes.

For my dolls I never really had any thing planned before hand for them. They'd come home tell me what they wanted and I'd work from there. XD

Also you'll something other then 1/6 to swap. Tee hee!

I've been wanting to put my ladies in Loli style frills for a while now, but they just don't carry off the style well enough, especially the two who were meant to be Loli-ish (pink hair Erika and blue hair Kula).

I could get them casual clothes but the moment they get to work in their cosplay outfits they tend to end up wearing that for a whole year.

I'm lucky with Chaeri--she loves all kinds of clothes, from casual to punk to lolita and even some goth (though Ashe kind of has the corner on the gothy biker chic around here). She wears anything I put on her very, very well. And she ADORES cosplay!

Lol. It really depends on the doll. Gives a sidelong glance at Cerise. I was really surprised the first time this happened too. So far Cerise is the only really vocal one. The other ones, I pretty much know who they are and they are quiet. Cerise is the loud unappeaseable one.

Oh yes I know what you mean. Riven was supposed to be a cross-dresser and even though he likes some girls clothes he much prefers it when I make him boys clothes and find him stuff that fits. Haruka adores anything that fits and Holly likes to be prim and proper. I tend to look for stuff for my dolls more then ever now. They demanded their own personal space off the desk.

They got one of my shelves all to themselves. Haruka demanded a bed: She got a sleeping bag AND a bed. Holly wished to have clothes that fit her style...Yeah. Ghoulia however wants more punk rock like clothes. I need to find Halloween fabric too. I'm hoping to convince my mom to let me in on the Swap this year so I could hopefully get some really rocking stuff for Ghoulia.

With all the dolls I have we have a bit of an agreement that most times they'll loosen up on what they wear and if they're crowded in the doll house or hanging out in a box. I do my best not to put them in something they wouldn't like, unless it's an absolute necessity for the website. Some know what they like before they get here, some are a mystery. I never knew Dorobo Joe liked kids until the first tiny arrived and he kept reaching for her.

You'll be out and about somewhere when suddenly you'll think "that's so ..." about one of your dolls and you've taken another step in your bonding
