Magic erasers..? What type of magic eraser do you mean..? I'm not sure how to translate that to Dutch. Do you have a picture..?

I think she means the Mr Clean magic erasers. I never used one because I can't find them here in central europe >_< But I heard a lot about their fantastic cleaning abilities like clothing/ wig stain removing and a lot of people use them for face up editing, fixing or removing.

Oh, I think I'll have to buy that from Asia too... by shipfreight.. which takes 45 days. Lol.

Lols you can find them in cleaning sections of your local stores. They're just these little white non toxic sponges that work beautifully when wet to remove msc and paint without damaging the plastic and vinyl underneath.

Btw I'm a guy, named John.

Oh I think I know which sponges you mean, they're really cheap too..! I've heard lots of good things about those, they're good for several cleaning purposes. I'll have to go out and get some tomorrow ^^

Speaking of eyebrows, there's a post over at JS Forums, in Tips & Tricks, about getting symetrical brows. The vedio that it's linked to uses a large resin head but it would probably work on tiny vinyls to some extent...heck, I even plan on adopting that method somehow to draw anime eyes, because it's just too awsome.

PS: I have a friend who got green egg dye on her wrist and managed to get most of it out with Magic eraser...better get some.

I still don't understand what a magic eraser is, so if anyone could post a picture that would be great :).

I 'just' (took me all evening) removed Eiki's crappy faceup and started all over with pastels and watercolour pencils alone. It looks so much better now. I'll post a picture in about 20 minutes, the last layer MSC is drying and after that I need to add new eye lashes. I'm so excited and proud!!^^

Got some really good advice at the Dolliverse convention about pastels from a faceup artist :). So yay!

I hope I'll make you proud, it's still an amateur's work but I'm much happier with it than I was with my first results.

Sorry for the bad pictures, it's past midnight here and it's hard to find the best light right now. I'll take more pics tomorrow.

Now that I'm looking at the pictures, I've noticed that the freckles are unfortunately quite 'stripey'. But hey, I can always go back in and fix those.

Things I improved:
- a less harsh faceup by changing the use of acrylics to the use of pastels and watercolour pencils
- curling the eyelashes more so they're more curvy and bending upwards, on the previous faceup the lashes were hiding Eiki's eyes
- no epic MSC fail this time!

Things I'm still not happy with:
- the eyebrows. MY GOSH those are hard to do. At some point I just gave up...
- the stripey freckles.
- I liked her lips better the first time.. they're a bit too dark and too big now. I think I'm gonna try and change that at some point.

I like Eiki's subtle smile :). And oh, I also added some more hair, but it's taking very long.

She looks great! Freckles FTW. And even if she's going to get a full head of hair, still rockin' the mohawk.
