You make me want to make one too now. But the thought of having a floating horse head is weird. I'd be playing the that scene from the Godfather a bit too much. XD
I'm mostly on Tumblr now.

How did you get the head off in the first place?

My BF cut it off. ( I think he used a hack saw) Then I used a Dremel tool to shape the opening. I love that tool! :D
The horse I got at Good Will. (I love that place) and G.I Joe I found at a flea market without any legs so he was perfect for this project.

Is that a recent Barbie horse? Mine didn't have any joints at all. :/ I'll have to keep an eye out at the yard sales next weekend...

I really don't know. This is one of those Barbie's horses that walked. (with batteries inside of it). Mattel made a couple of these walking /jumping horse not too far back if I remember. I saw them when K B Toys were still around.

Oh tell me it was the high stepper pony, I had one of those when I was little.
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.
