Lols I'm looking at my neglected Liv horse and am SEVERELY tempted to try this myself.

Not sure if Liv horses are still being sold but they're fantastically jointed and very nicely proportioned... Thos eyes are freaking scary though.

I love your centaur though! It's definitely inspirational and if I had the guts I would attempt this myself lolol.

I suspect if you shove a flat head screwdriver into where the mane is and stuff, you could pry the head open for eye swapping fun...

But damnit, I'm going to rip off the head now just cuz it's nagging at me.


Edit: it actually works! I'm slowly prying the head now haha... Damnit WHY MUST I READ THE FORUMS BEFORE BED?

Edit 1: Turns out the eyes are held in by screws, like Little Pullips D:

Edit 2: Well he has 14mm oval eyes. Personally, my horse head was only glued by the actual posts and sockets, rather than the whole seamline, so it made prying it open easy. Though I recommend sticking your horse in the freezer to weaken the glue. I didn't only cuz my room is freeeeeezing due to winter.

But argh, now to turn him into robot unicorn or centaur-ise him? xD

They still have Derpy Liv ponies at my TRU, and they still charge too much for them. If I could find our hacksaw I might have been on the hunt for a jointed horse.

If I find a horse to hack, mine will be a lady centaur (a doll version of my D&D character). She has a bit of a temper, though... ^^;

I've had a centauress put together and awaiting painting and such for about a year now... only her torso is jointed, tho.

AlmySidaKay- My horse also neighed was well as walked. (but not too good)

DollyKim- My horse had screws to hold him together so he was easy to take apart. I took most of the guts out except for some of the back stuff that helped his back legs to move. (this also gave him some weight to the back of him so he wouldn't be a front heavy, with the G.I. Joe's body.)
