Rune Gets his Rock On

XDD Rune got his guitar today. After the mailman did a hit and run on Friday, wouldn't let my roommate pick up the package on Saturday, I finally managed to get there to pick it up. I'll have to take some proper pics of him when I get back from NY, and redo his face-up, make him a new shirt, so he can stop wearing the undershirt to his friend's Kurama costume, and make his new wig. But for now, he wants to show off the guitar.



It's a bit too thick, because it's intended as a display piece of some kind, and there's space for batteries. Since I don't plan on making a video of the doll just sitting there, there's no reason for it to make noise, so I'll be removing the back panel, and gluing on a piece of thin wood or paperboard cut to fit. It's funny; it actually looks a lot like my hubby's old electric guitar.

Yah, it's almost double the thickness it needs to be. I'll be splitting it right on the mold seam, but it will have to wait for a bit.

well for now it doesn't look too awkward That's pretty close to the thickness of my acoustic-electric when I hold it, though I have short arms lol
