My first resin made her way home today!
Image

I was surprised at how light the box actually was. I don't know why, I thought it would be heavier.

Image

Kiddo was excited. A doll in a box with Styrofoam pellets in ANOTHER box! What could make a kid happier?

Image

Image

Peanuuuuu~ts! I'm gonna be finding those suckers for weeks.

Image

The first peak! Nice brows, bro. Those are definitely getting redone. ^_^;

Image

Her hands seem...a little big for her body. Or maybe it's just me.

Image

She smelled sweet, which I also didn't expect. And since it was rather warm today she felt very warm and life-like. :) I think BBB has stolen my bank account, because if the rest of their sprites are as pretty as her....well...a girls got to have an escort, right?

And of course, the goodies!

]Image[

Not pictured is the green bouncy ball kiddo abducted before I could snap a picture. He got a present too. ;)

Image

Also in the box were Kailey's new eyes! She's beginning to move from test dummy to a part of the family. :)

Kailey was my gateway to ball-jointed dolls. I originally got her just to see if I really wanted to get into the hobby or not, but then she became her own little person. Sadly she got relegated to a practice head for my more flexible dolls, but she's a fighter and refused to take being a lab rat. She'll be amazing all her own someday, just haven't settled on how. :)

Kailey has a beatiful face. Perhaps you can do a post about how you changed her eyes? Congrats on the new girl, The pic of her peeking out of the bubble wrap is so cute.

Your new doll is so cute! I love BBB sculpts so much! <3

I might have missed it, but did you have a name for her?
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

I knoooo~w. If I could only buy one brand of BJD it would definitely be BBB. When I posted this she didn't have a name yet, but her name is Aisling (AYsh-leen). :)

It really does suit her perfectly. After all, she is one of the Irish fairy folk. :D
