Yea, well, most of Resinsoul's boys are pretty androgynous so I'm not surprised - he has that same look as Sprite and Song and such. I just love the hoofy dolls - I'm such a sucker for them even though I only own two at the moment :)

Yes they can be. XD But that's one of the things that make them awesome. I love that they can be swapped male/female so easily, but at the same time, you can make the sculpt look really masculine with the right face-up. :) I love how the hoofy dolls look, I admit I'll drool over all of them, but for some reason I just don't see them fitting into my home. I think mostly because all my dolls are fan character dolls, and I don't see OC dolls fitting in. Maybe some day I'll fall in love with a hoofy character and I'll have an excuse. Or someday my collection will expand, until either of those happens, I'll just sit look at all the pretty little hoofies.

That would be how pretty much all the hooved dolls are made. SOOM began the trend with their limited monthly dolls and other companies have taken up the style as well so that more people can afford them. Resinsoul's articulation is actually far less extreme in appearance than that of Soom or Angelheim's. Soom's can actually squat. I believe the idea is to give the same appearance as the greek faun.

Besides, hooved animals are actually unguligrade, since the walk on the "tip" of the toe.

I'm just sad because I prefer Soom type hooves, but Resinsoul sculpts, oh the delema.
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

Aw I love that he actually looks like a fawn with his slightly gangly frame. And the large horns and hooves remind me of a puppy with huge paws. He just needs to grow into them!

Darn it. I didn't want non-human dolls but those legs are so cute...maybe down the road sometime.

I'm sure you could---I've asked for crazy things from Sun-san at RS and they always comply. I bought thighs and joints once, then just the torso part another time, some calves later on, etc.

Not sure how much full legs would be, but when I bought just the thighs and joints, they were $30 + s/h. The torso was $60 USD + s/h.

RS is SUPER flexible! ^^

I'd like them to do some of the bei sized with hooves as well. I'd have to get one of those if they did.

They look a lot like the Dan horns. Maybe that's why they're so big on him? He is adorable.
