Besides that's men's work!

What century are you living in? ;P It might take me longer, but I can do MOST things a man can.

I can't imagine little tiny 5'3, 120 lbs me swinging an axe. I'd loose an arm before I moved a tree.

I have maybe 5 lbs on you; and I used to move (not lift but use leverage to move) 100 lb bags of horse feed. I'd also unload wagons (of 80-100 bales) of hay onto the conveyor to the loft, each bale was roughly 30-50 lbs. The boxes of clay I had in my classroom were 50 lbs each as well.

Last summer I had to remove a tree that was mostly dead and the wind knocked partially over. All I had was an axe and time. Put on some gloves, good footwear and hack away. It might not be pretty, and might take a little while, but you can get the job done!

"Men's work" is moving the fridge, washing machine, and a few other heavy pieces of furniture we have. Only because the gal we know that could do it is on the other side of the country.

Now if you don't mind someone has to take the drive shaft out of the van...

Good thing I rescued my Sparrow from AZ this week, she should be here tomorrow! :D
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

That's when the windows need to be cracked whenever parked, you need the car under cover, or a reflector thingy in the windshield, all of which doesn't stop it being hot, but it does at least prevent your car from cooking your for the first 10 minutes after you get in... We have similar problems in the mid-south, but the humidity here is pretty bad also, so it takes the AC a while to cut through the heat, even if it's only in the mid-high 90's.

Actually, I like my dolliehs more than I like a lot of people I know in real life.
Is that bad? I think not!

Oh Geez. I can't imagine ever being anywhere that hot. Me and my northern constitution start having problems dealing with the 80s. 16 below, no problem, just can't handle hot. Of course my fiance is originally from Texas and just thinks I'm crazy.

I'm lucky that we have a parking garage, so my car is comfy enough when i get in it at work - it's once I leave the garage that it starts to suck ;p And yea, reflector sun shades are a MUST when grocery shopping or anything else ;p

I used to live in Texas, so I know about humid heat....I think I prefer our dry heat here - but i'd prefer no heat at all! I like cold weather - in fact, I even like snow!

I can agree with the comments about hating humid heat ... that slays me ... I'm like a few of you that prefer the cold

I think the hottest I have ever been in was over in Bandar Abbas Iran, back in 1976 (when Iran was still our friends) ... it hit 131 degrees, we recorded it in the ship's logbook, the water temp in the harbor was 101 degrees ... I hated it

the coldest I can remember being in was when I lived in Maine ... and here in Wyoming ... I have seen the temp get down to the mid -20's ... and here in WY this past winter the wind chill hit -40 to -45

I'll take the cold any day :D

I'm gonna have to convert those temperatures to know what you're talking about hehe... here it was over 30 degrees Celsius today, which is very un-Dutch. Tomorrow we'll reach 35 degrees (!!) and we're going on a field trip. I think we're all gonna do from the heat O.o

-edit- I used a converter, 35 celsius is 95 fahrenheit. May not seem hot to you but us Dutchies aren't used to such temps O.o
