My apology is for the fact that we had to let him misbehave before removing him. Every post of his that hurt a member with it's tone or content hurt me to see, but unless I and the other mods, want to act like dictators we have to respect our own rules as well. I'm so sorry to anyone who was offended or angered or hurt by his behavior.
On that note though - PLEASE, let me stress that you - every one of you - have the right to let myself or any of the mods know if you feel there is a potential or real problem with a post or person. The faster we can document difficulties then the faster we can take action to protect each of you and the forum from pervs and trolls (or pervy trolls). You should never feel that you are being a problem, making waves, causting trouble, etc... This forum belongs to all the members, and as I always say, my job is to make sure it's a safe and fun place all of us to hang out. While I like to think my judgement of people is good, it helps myself and the other mods to make a decision about people like Theodoric, if we know that their behavior is disturbing to others as well. We may still have to wait a bit to act, but at least we will have the knowledge that it's not "just us" with the bad feeling.
Anyway, didn't mean to make this so long, I just wanted to continue with our policy of openness to let everyone know what has been done.
Again, I apologise to those who had threads hijacked or locked because of this, but let us all look on the bright side - at least he didnt' send everyone in the forum a flouncy PM on his way out
