Bryn in... Kimonos?

Postby Lexagon » Fri Jul 01, 2011 7:31 pm

Ahmmm, this was never supposed to happen, I promised Bryn I'd never shove her into "one of those dress thingys" since she's not too familiar with the term Kimono, and she's an elf and all but SACRIFICES HAVE TO BE MADE, this one was one of those sacrifices 8-) Plus she looks really good in them, I don't understand why she's so picky sometimes. -le shrug-

Such great kimonos! Did you buy them or make them? They look fantastic on her! :D
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

Its a little bit of half and half actually :D

There were Bratz dolls an extraordinarily long time ago that had kimonos on them they only had 2 different dolls though. But uhm, I found them yesterday all tucked away and now I can't think of dolls in clothes, or they can't stay in their clothes until I've checked to see if they fit Bryn  . These didn't fit right away, they're a little small, her torso is wider than a Bratz (obviously) but with a little bit of work (and seam ripping) they fit perfectly now. They even have little underskirts that I made for them since the originals didn't fit. She still doesn't have proper footwear, but I figure I'll let it slide.

Those both are actually for the JS photo contest because I have a kimono that I am going to end up wearing for the contest. But, they're not the same exact colors so, I don't know how that'll go.

But yeah, they're bratz doll kimonos slightly modified with some additions and repairs :D
