My first SD! new pics on page 2

I've had his body for a while, but today I finally got the head for my first SD boy, Justin. He's so pretty! He's a DiM Arno and he's on a Domuya D-1 Flexi body. He's going out for a faceup in a few days, but I took some photos of his blank prettiness. The Flexi body is an amazing poser.

I also have his boyfriend Andrew's head already, so he's going off for a faceup too. I'm looking around for a 68 cm or larger body for him that'll work. It might be a challenge - he's a Souldoll Zenith head, but even though those heads are meant for a 70cm body, it's quite a bit smaller than Justin's head. I don't want him looking like too much of a pinhead. Also, his neckhole is huge. 12.5 cm. It seems to me like Souldoll doesn't want anyone putting their heads on other companies' bodies. If I can't find a body that works, I may end up buying the Island Doll Austin I'd originally had my eye on for him...pricey, but so handsome.

P.S.: Are those little "jointed" feet I see?

Yup! It's the only body I've ever seen with jointed feet. If his upper body is supported he can look like he's on tiptoe, or he can sit and touch his toes and look like he's stretching. ^_^

He looks great. I have a Domuya head that I eventually want to put on a Domuya Flexi but they are kinda hard to find these days. I'm also not too sure about the resin color. Can you post some pics of your guy in color?

Here's one of the photos pre-editing showing the awful resin match, haha. The plan is to use white and pale yellow pastel to lighten the head, which is the pinky DiM Normal skin. The body is WS, and a bit yellowed since it's from 2007. I lucked out, found a great deal on DOA. He was about half the price the bodies sold for new. One of the caps for the backs of the legs is missing, but since he'll be in pants most of the time it's not much of a bother.

I have the Perennial body, and man, all she does is flop over. Lol.

congrats! Those feet are something else! I didn't know such things existed. And I love his face! Even blank he seems to have personality.

The body can seem a bit floppy at first, posing it takes a little patience. But the range of poses you can get is totally worth it. I'm not sure how the Perennial compares, though. Standing poses seem to be the most difficult, but I can get him to stand...though I watch carefully in case he faceplants. XD

The thing I love about this mold is that if you look at him straight on, he looks to be smiling, but if you view him from above (like the first photo) he looks worried. <3

Congrats! I just love those flexibodies~ I'm sure with a bit of work you won't even notice the resin difference.
