Haircuts for boys!

Finally took the plunge and got my shears out on my 1/6 go-guy heads... I find it much easier to cut hair before they get a face up and a personality...

It's really nerve-wracking when you think... this won't grow out... then again, you can always re-root I guess if it goes horribly wrong!!


Annnnd gave this guy some red high/ low (?) lights too!

Nice work. (I always cut the hair LAST, after face-up and everything... and hold my breath that I don't make a horrible mess!)

I really like the one with the red streaks. It's amazing how much a little contrasting color can do to accent a personality!

JanetT - how interesting! I like to hear how people 'evolve' their dolls - concept/ personality etc. The black and red guy actually does have a face-up although I haven't altogether decided on his name/ xter etc. I'm thinking of making him a male model/ dancer and one of Kang's rivals.

Aww thank you DarkAngel! A friend has just agreed to face them up for me in exchange for some sewing|! So shouldn't be too long and I will make sure I post them when they're finished so you can see how they turn out. ^___^

Brilliant! Love what you've done. Very scary doing that. I've done it with my blonde 03 head. I just LOVE that head. Just wish I'd bought more of them.
