Just started a thread for all the 1/6 Obitsu heads I paint. I think I'll do a single pic lineup for all of them that I update on the first post and add the new ones in new posts so it's easy for ppl to see them all at once. They do pile up.

Er...I guess I should do a bigger pic but I'll adjust this later.

Now for the new girl!

This is an F03 head like Ace. She is another toughie and her name is Kat. I really like the F03 head but I don't think she is that popular...as a girl anyway. Granted I've seen her painted badly as a girl since she has rather masculine features. She was supposed to have more tension in her face from frown lines but I decided to keep her clean since I'm selling her and I'm not sure if ppl want frowning dolls.

Oh for anyone interested, she is completely painted using a Rekab red sable size 0. No need for a fancy 100/0 brush but if i do get my hands on one I will see if i can get even finer detail?

Yay, I finished my second commission. The heads belong to onesixthwarrior. I'm not sure if he is a member here but he is on other forums.

This is Tankini. She is an Obitsu 27HD-F01 type with side part rooted hair...the side part is so nice.

This is Bloody Rose. Well thats the name of the character from CY Cool Girl. She is an amazing sculpt. Sorry that she has no body. This is an in progress shot for the owner. I wont be putting her on a body since she is an older head and I am scared of ruining her neck hole which already has a tear.

Ah, it's been a loooong time. Here is my first finished faceup since the hiatus. This is quite different in style than what I normally do but I quite like it. I have yet to gloss her but that's a minor detail. I will update with a nicer photo with her hair down after she has been glossed!

Do you use one of those magnifiers? Lately my hands have been so shaky I haven't been able to paint (and I think I need new glasses lol) and I was wondering if that would help me see/paint better. ?
