I went to see the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra last night. The show was Distant Worlds: music from FINAL FANTASY. They had the composer Nobuo Uematsu in the audience and he sang with the choir for the encore.

Unbelievable. We're getting the whole Secret World crew together at DragonCon, the first time EVER we will have the whole gang in one physical place, and they managed to squeak us in a panel at literally the last possible second. Sue and Rachel are smothered in awesome sauce.

Hmmm - 10pm is usually about the time I'm looking at my teen daughter and hoping she'll notice that I'm wilting after running back and forth between 5 hotels for the past 12 hours . . . still - tempting, Misty!

So this isn't so much of a 'yay rejoice!' as a 'holy beejezus life is awesome sometimes' but the new Batman movie is filming like 6 blocks from my apartment and I totally got to see them filming part of one of the fight scenes. If you see it, keep in mind that while the scenes are all snowy and cold looking it was 90 degrees with 60% humidity for a lot of it. I feel really bad for all the actors in full winter costumes.
