Well, we took another look at our new home, same size room, ginormous tub Anderson can play hurricane in. Apparently clean is relative to some people. I think the carpet is supposed to be one shade of grey, not mottled, but that's going bye bye.

Any hints for getting light but noticeable smoke smell out of fake wood paneling?

Smoke smell may be kinda gross, but at least you aren't moving in and discovering the house you just bought is actually flea infested. >_< *shudder*

I'd try airing the house out really well. Just open all the windows for a day or two. If that doesn't help...you could try Febreeze or hanging dryer sheets or yummy herby smelling sachets near where the smell is worst.

The owner has decided he wants to refurb it first, yays! I wouldn't want to be there when he sees what they did to it. We told him about the paint and will still look in to some Vamoose just in case.

It's a mobile home rental, other people weren't helping with the buying end, it's a bit bigger than what we're in and sort of a sideways step. The dolls and I will share a sizable room, bathroom, and nice sized closet so all will be okay. Big thing is the floors don't shake when trucks and busses drive by and it's not on a highway so there's no busses any way. The only slight downer is it's up the street from the house we wanted to buy with the artists' storage in the basement, they wouldn't termite. But it's still a nice place. We'll be content.

I bought a wig for my Mamoru/Tuxedo Kamen doll today, and I just realized it's his birthday, the character, not my doll. So this wig has to work!

Well another good thing is that if the floors start to tilt in a mobile, you just call the owner, he gets the guys with the jacks in and adds another bit to the supports. Easy fix.

Unless it is sitting flush to the ground on a slab now, of course.

Well, I just spent two hours disassembling Nobu and getting around to kitbashing the 55cm Obitsu parts I have onto his 3 part 60cm fleshtone obitsu frame. Hooray, now his body matches his Elfdoll head much better. I discovered suction cups that come on soft toys make perfect sueding for Nobu's wobbly head.

I then slapped the purple wig onto Bea and now think I may try giving the big dolls attention again...
