Aluminum Foil Armor

They're too sexy for their clothing - but they have to wear them anyway! Did you buy it? Did you make it? Who cares - let'm strut their stuff here!

 She wasn't too happy with me for doing that, but it turned out kind of awesome. Too bad the armor was one-use-only... It ripped when I took it off. (I still have the sword, though.)

Maybe I can improve on the design next time, so I don't have to remake it anytime there's a dragon to be fought.
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@

And it provides lots of protection from the alien mind control rays.

Hmmmmm, I'm guessing that Aluminum foil must be this weeks theme on the Junkyspot Facebook page LOL.

K2 is wrong though - unless you use a metal strainer for a helmet you are NOT protected from all the alien mind control beams!

It's OK, really. Dialga is a time-space Pokemon. He will defend his Knight/trainer/partner from the alieums.

And yes, the JS picspam theme is Aluminum Foil this time. I still have like half a roll of foil left...

You're probably thinking of a Faraday cage, which can be made using mesh or foil and works against electromagnetic radiation. Mesh is frequently used in Faraday cages due to its relative transparency and durability. However, most alien mind control beams are not electromagnetic in nature and can easily penetrate open meshes. Some of the silk like weaves made of stainless steel will work to some degree and this material is proven more durable than foils. If employing aluminum foil it works best dull side out. The dull side scatters the beams producing less return for the aliens to detect.

Or just not have a mind. Then there's nothing for them to control.
