Woo, finally back from SDCC! And a few things to say (that everyone probably already knows, but I didn't see it in the Monster Mash thread...)
1. Torelei will have a doll! Woo!
2. There is voting going on between three possible dolls for next year and one is a Mistress Bloodgood with a removable head! Also Sarah Screams and a spider one with multiple arms whose name escapes me at the moment.
3. More fashion packs! I think I saw one for Abbey? I have to go through my pictures again. My brain is so fuzzy. Gah.

So yeah, it was awesome. Wish they had had a panel, though.

Shit. I need that doll!!!

The one with multiple poseable arms. Yes please.

I've been wanting to make Hindu stuff for forever. They have to do this. Please doll gods...please...

:EDIT: where can I vote~?

On Facebook, I'm a rebel and voted for the headmisstress. >.>
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

Yay Headmistress! I voted for her, too. Although that was with my badge. I had no clue where to vote online, just that the booth person told me it was possible. ^^;

Gah. I haven't uploaded ANY of my SDCC pictures yet, OR deboxed my SDCC Ghoulia. Rawr work killing me rawr (I've had migraines each time I've worked at my second job now, and it's driving me insane, since it takes forever for them to go away).

It took me a while to figure out what those were. XD But I checked the Happy Meal website and it looks like it's one tiny shoe on a plastic keyring. :/ So get two of the same kind to make a pair, I guess?

It doesn't even look like they would work. It looks from the picture like the shoes are solid.

Darn you McDonald's! You have failed me for the last time! >:C

Ugh, I get migranes, too. You might try just breathing deeply, or meditating. That usually helps a bit. It won't make them go away cmpletely, but it'll at least make you feel like you're doing something about it. :)

The "new" 1/6 scale GI Joes are starting to hit retail shelves. I was disappointed to hear that they're all based on the late- '90s Classic Collection body, seem to use the same head sculpt and are reported to have a weird, pale skin tone.

The "CC" body style isn't very posable compared to what's come along in the last 12 years or so, not even as nice (IMO) as the post- 2001 GI Joe Super Articulated body, so I'm not personally interested in these. I might buy the HALO paratrooper just because I don't have a guy with a functional parachute. It's a shame because I was really hoping to pad out my crew with some new "SA" bodied Joes but it looks like these will be getting a pass from me.

I've seen these at Target. The pale head doesn't match the body skintone.

The new Disney VIP dolls with Skipper Sized articulated bodies are apparently out in stores now...

They certainly look interesting and have potential clothes to steal for the ghouls...

There's also Disney VIP Cece & Rocky from Shake It Up!

So far I only really like the VIP clothes. Their faces are a little too cartoony for me.

Went to go vote, but it's over already. :( Oh well, that's what I get for 'liking' monster high on facebook but blocking all the posts. I couldn't stand all the 'let's be beast friends' and 'it's so frighteningly fabulous!" etc etc...
