New Volks EB Bodies!

I think they are still in the process of updating them or something. As far as I know there aren't any new designs out.

yeah they aren't as good for posing as obitsu. The sculpt is prettier though. No magnets.

Here's the bottom line- there's nothing really wrong with them if you have patience. If you like the way they look then by all means get one. My oldest date back to 2004, I think I've had Dolly that long, and 2005 for the first EB. They will get floppy, they do disarm themselves, they don't have magnets or free stand. You can match to Obitsu parts normal to normal and white to white. Obitsu Normal matches the natural or light colored Goh.

I did body swaps to Obitsus for my girls and my minis, my girls went back to their Volks bodies because they don't stain like the Obitsu soft parts can, they have a lot of dark clothes. The mini/midi Fs went Obitsu because I was tired of picking up feet but I've kept the bodies and put the heads they came with on them.

I have all 3 EB line colors white, normal, and tan if anyone has skin matching questions.

Gabby and Lola are Mini-EBs. Most of them are out of stock now, because they're not making any more. I dearly love mine, they're adorable and very good for anime-looking dolls, but because of Obitsu's posability and availability, I probably will not be getting any more.

They're the same bodies---they were always just called 'New Excellent Body.'

I love the 27cm male bodies---because they're so skinny, even after dressing them, they're still slender and slick looking.
The 27cm female bodies, I prefer Obitsu----the Obitsu have a prettier silhouette AND pose better!

However, the 25cm Volks Midis are WONDERFUL! I have about 50 of them because they're the PERFECT size for 'girls/women' next to the 27cm/28cm male bodies. (When you want the gal to be about a little more than a head or so shorter than the boy.) They don't fall apart (except sometimes, their hands DO come off if you're unlucky to get a body with loose hand joints) and pose really nicely! I also love their look and shape!

What I find funny is that the Volks 25cm and the Obitsu 25cm are COMPLETELY different sizes. 0_o

The Volks is taller by about an inch!!! How can that be?!? But it is......
