WOW, those Tokyo dolls look nice! How much do they cost, I didn't see a rpice tag.. unless I didn't go far enough in the site. lol There's gotta be a downside to those seamless dolls....

The 60cm start at approx $750 USD + s/h; the 27cm start at $200 USD + s/h. That's bodies only.

Nice dolls but very, very costly. ^^

Guys.....I just got a clear Volks body. I wasn't sure from the ebay posting but I opened the box just now and yes...even her head is clear!!!! I'm so excited. I don't quite know what to do with her yet but we'll see. I'm scared to mess up her head since I won't be able to replace it easily.

Wow! Really?! I never even heard of a clear Volks doll!!!!!! Is she 27cm sized? That's awesome!! Can't wait to see what you do with her!!!! ^^

DollyKim...yes you need one lol. The only thing that stopped me from the OBitsus silly as it is, was that the head was silver. I wonder why they don't make clear heads? I'm sure the clear squishy plastic probably yellows fairly quickly, though the volks head I have is pretty much crystal clear.

Setsuna! I dunno what i will do yet. I have to think about it. As easy as it would be to do a glass robot I think I might do a water sprite. Yes she is 27 cm I will post pics when i can. I'm just so tired and I'm working saturday too.....T_____T

Now didn't I see somewhere that someone took the paint off their Obitsu head? Or is this a job for clear casting resin?

Taking one apart and painting the inside with glow in the dark paint, there's some that dries relatively clear, and seeing what that does.
