I need head and clothing help

Okay heres the thing, I have the body I want to use(but knowing me I could change my mind) but I can't find the right head.

So I need help. I want to use my extra volks Neo Guy body....or another good articulated body.

I'm working on a prince figure for my new photostory I'm planing. The thing is he is supposed to be a teen. I figured my neo guy body would work since its shorter then my other guy figures, but I can't find a head that looks young enough....maybe I'm not looking at all the possible figures. Thats 1 area were I need help. What possible heads dose everyone think might work?

The other area I need help is his clothes. There is no mattel prince clothes that I like. Any ideas there? Normally I'd make the clothes myself if I can't find anything I like but in this area I have no clue what to do or where to start.

So HELP!

The Obitsu 05 head is youthful looking and works well for a male, particularly a young one. This is one on a Volks EB N body:



The Volks SH-16 is also a good youthful head:

Noix de Rome also has a couple of good heads, but they're pretty much out of the 1/6 business now.

SetsunaKou, I love looking at your dolls. I think warrior is talking about the muscle body that is shorter than the Neo Go body. I don't know if the heads that you are showing will work for that body type.

Yea I'm talking about the muscle body, it can wear most of the guy clothes I have. But those are great looking possibles SetsunaKou. I could use an Obitsu body....but that might make him too thin. The SH-16 does look good for a youth so does the Obitsu 05, kindda like the SH-16 look better. I don't have either of those heads. Those are nice options.

I recommend the blonde Basics Ken. He looks great on that body and has a young face. Any of the newer collector Ken heads would fit, though.

Volks actually made prerooted heads for the Neo Guy back in the early 2000s. I think you bought one from me last year? I'm not sure if I have any left, but if you need one, let me know the hair color and I'll check.

I did buy one of the heads from you SetsunaKou, I forgot all about it. I put it on an Obitsu and forgot about it. Well not any more, its going to be the prince's best friend.

Glace Leau I took your recommendation. That head looks great on the body I want and I don't have to mod it like I usually have to.(unless I re-root him )

So now I just have to tackle his outfit.....any tips on that one?

Dress-Up Book #1 has Doctor Who clothes in full size patterns for most male dolls, I don't have the exact same Volks same guy but chances are something in there will fit or come close. It's the same pieces in 10 or so 'sizes', I've put the Obitsu regular guy in Dragon size.

The pattern drafting book is just that, measure and draft for any and every doll.
