Thanks again guys! This is so helpful it's ridiculous! :D

Um bit of a noob question here, who is Emory? (I do know of a guy called Emory, but I doubt it's the same Emory - since he manufactures and sells expensive lightsabers...)

US shipping isn't really an issue for me, it's more will they ship to the UK?

I think I'll stick to Gang as I have fallen for his face-sculpt somewhat. Mu's face is slightly different now that I've found more photos of him.

Emory is the owner of Junkyspot. He's super nice.

Ummmm ... I'm pretty sure JS sells to the UK? Don't know for certain, though.

Emory/JunkySpot does ship internationally.

I'll reconfirm that BBB/RS are nice dolls, and a good starting point. My first was actually a hybrid MSD, Angel of Dream with a Dollzone head. He's my best poser. BBBs aren't as good at posing, but they are very cuddly and pretty. I also have a Luts KDelf Ani; very pretty, little younger looking but more expensive.

With a good restringing, they pose just as well as some other dolls, if not better.

Oh if you are in the UK, there is a seller for BBB/RS there too! It's Angelesque!

Thanks for that link! And the info. I'll have to work out which way is cheaper import or buy from this UK shop - it's a bit of a shame that the 70cm dolls look a little odd shapewise, their necks seem too long.

Edit: Yeah - even with shipping, with the extras that I want to get it's cheaper to import him (just!)

I like Junkyspot the best. Emory is just too awesome for words, so my loyalty goes to him first. I like Mint on Card as well, and buy a few supplies and things from them. When it comes time to buy the Loongsoul Doll I want, I'll get it through MOC. :-) My favorite company is actually Resinsoul. Partly because of the price, it allows me to shell out more of my characters at a time. My actual favorite doll though, is probably the Granado, followed closely by the Doll Leaves. Both of those dolls have design elements that solve problems other dolls seem to have (joints, mobility, etc.)

If you take your time and research all the options out there, you'll definitely find the perfect doll. There are SO MANY to choose from. :-)

Actually, what ARE you looking for in a doll? Is there anything specific you want or like? You prefer a girl, boy, or grown man or woman? Large bust, or small? Beefy muscle-man or something thin and lithe? Did you mention that and I just missed it? Am I asking too many questions? What is the air speed of an unladen swallow!

But a 2 oz bird can not carry a 5 oz coconut!

Well perhaps if two birds carry it with a piece of twine...

Heheh! Welll... Mostly I look at the dolls face-sculpt when I drool at them, and then whether the body looks proportional to my untrained eye. At the moment for a 1st doll I'm after a doll that's an adult male (but definitely not an action man muscle bound looking thing) think "skinny-mandrion" and isn't particularly femine (But if all goes well with the 1st doll that's on my imaginary money no issue list). Maybe with a touch of otherworldly supernatural, but that's not a nescessity - since generic human sculpts can be used for so many characters, but elves tend to be stuck in occult, sidhe, sci-fi realms. I think Gang matches my criteria perfectly but if you know of any others out there that match please feel free to show me!
