Thanks, VV, I'll get with you on that possibility.

And KitKat its the Paulding Humane Society.

Some good news - apparently the shelter was filled with people looking to adopt a pet this past Friday.

I'm not going to say who the mod was because she was indeed polite about it, however I got a PM with a "not-quite-a-warning" about posting on the Humane Society in the GA meet-up thread. She claims she's received "several reports" from members who were "uncomfortable" with my posts about the shelter . . . funny that I have meet most of the GA members face-to-face and none of them seem the type to fall under that category. And I know for a fact that the first two posts I made weren't left up for more than 10 minutes apiece, anyway. The last post (where I asked if there would be any interest in raffling off one of VV's outfits for the shelter) could have been up for a few hours. I don't know when exactly the mod deleted it, only that she PMed me 4 hours after I posted it. I have no idea if any comments were made in the thread because they would have been deleted, as well.

What gets me is that she said there were "other venues" to discuss subjects like the Humane Society situation. Right. . . . Like maybe waiting until the next month's meet-up?!

*deep cleansing breaths*

I truly, deeply, and sincerely hope that their dogma gets run over by their karma.

Obviously NOTHING in their little world can ever or will ever be as important as On Topic DOLLIES!

So just imagine what their tiny little real lives must be like. And what their tiny little real lives will continue to be like, as they grow old with their dollies, in their little trailer home, alone, working for MacDonales.
All you damn kids get offa my lawn!

I really appreciate your offer, VV. Too bad it won't get the chance to be appreciated by the others in the group now.

LOL - so much for my name dropping in the post, too!

Sounds like the female equivalent of the Fan Boy. What, the world will implode if you the most important person in it doesn't tell us what sucks? Who made them Judge Judy and Executioner? ~likes usually being the thinnest best adjusted person at doll meets :P~

I'm in kind of a "blah" moment with the doll/ action figure hobby right now. I notice I'm lurking a lot on many of the boards and I actually spend more time here than at JSF. One Sixth Warriors has been kind of boring to me recently and my primary cast of characters are all on indefinite hiatus. Even photography has required more time and patience than I care to devote to.

dont worry, we all go through down phases with our hobbies. sometimes it does a body good to take a "vacation" from it. in fact, it might be good to take a schedualled vacation, tell your peeps you'll be gone for two weeks so they wont worry. maybe read a few books or watch movies!

My dolls are kinda quiet this season too. Being sick, learning new job stuff at work and having lessons is kinda draining me. You could try displaying your more 'dominant' dolls near your pc and fiddle around with them who know if they could spark off an idea or two.

Why am I more willing to spend on wigs and shoes instead of clothes? Why aren't my dolls asking for casual clothes?(Oh wait they don't wear their casual clothes much after 3 months).

Here I am, just really getting into dolls...and my ours get cut waaay back. x.x

That's okay; I'm using the opportunity to attempt to start my own ebusiness and possibly go back to school, and to whip the garden into shape!

Do you do rescue, Kirah? I'd love a PM with your story!
