East coast hurricane

Bathtub. Always go for the bathtub or the interior of a room.

There are transformers blowing up all over my town. I think one of the neighborhoods just went out. Luckily we have our own grid but ours is getting flickery.

This will be fun.

Bathtub is filled with water. lol Our house is a one story rancher house. 3 bedrooms, 1 bath. There's a small hallway leading to those rooms so I wonder if that's our best bet.

Mostly rain and some wind here. I'm getting more afraid of tornadoes than the hurricane. Those funneling wind tunnels of doom freak me out real bad.

Ahh right. The hallway would be the best bet then. I had a big website full of tips for tornadoes but they really only help if you have warning. These ones we don't have warning because they're covered by rain until they're on top of you.

I wouldn't worry too much, you'll just cause yourself unnecessary anxiety. Just be on your toes and keep tuned into the weather channel. We keep switching between tornado watches and warnings every 15 minutes or so.

I hope everyone stays safe! I live in NY, but I live so far upstate we are only going to get some rain and wind. Again, I hope everyone stays safe.

It doesn't help my anxiety when my husband watches Merlin on his computer at REALLY LOUD VOLUME. The ominous music and clanging noises make me feel like I'm going to miss some really important sound. I've asked him to turn it down and he did for like, 5 minutes, going to have to hand him his headphones soon.

I'm definitly keeping an eye on all weather reports. They reported a few deths already and 3 of them were kids.

Tornado watches and warnings are everywhere. We are camping in the hallway tonight.

One just passed legitimately 15 minutes from here.
And we have another warning already.

Warnings seem to have stopped. Watches are on until 5am though. Some tornadoes touched down around us, but didn't get too close. Either way, in the hallway. Lol amazingly have not lost power yet. Just been listening to radio.

This is intense guys. I guess I'll just keep on responding until I finally Lose power. I'll get back ASAP if we lose power and then get it back
