The real test for us comes in about 2 hours, not looking forward to it. I'm expecting us to lose power. We've already lost it for a few minutes here and there quite a few times. The animals are going crazy

She should have just made landfall.
Still waiting for things to kick up. The rain has started, not the wind so much. We had a nice lull for a while.

The faster she comes the faster it's over but I wish it was daylight out. It's like the sun will not shine again.

Yeah, it's a little weird, I don't like not being able to see what's happening on the street. We can't even really open up the door to look because of flying stuff x.x

At least the radio is mildly amusing. But I see the eye coming up Jersey now, so bracing ourselves. Trying to keep the cat out of the kitchen and he's being a paiin. I can't believe that at 4am we still have power. Hope that keeps up.

5 AM Pacific/8 AM Eastern time say it's still category 1, hitting New York now and there's some power outages and flooding.

We're pretty much done with the hurricane now. it's 9am and we're fine. wow. not to say that it wasn't bad, had me in the hallway all night. But we're okay. never even lost power.
