My second Little Pullip hybrid: Kim

Postby Evelien » Sat Sep 17, 2011 4:18 am

I ordered her in April and she finally arrived this week: my Little Pullip Seine. I turned a Little Pullip Donkey into my doll Johanna (23 cm Obitsu) months and months ago and I wanted to make her a sister... which I FINALLY did.

I deboxed Seine yesterday. I put her on a 21 cm Obitsu - she's so pale that the white skin Obitsu isn't a perfect match, but I don't care - and let her hair down. It was braided and tied together, letting it down was a pain and so was the removal of glue residue from her hair afterwards, but it was soo worth it. My gosh she's beautiful. I never thought her hair would be this long!!!!

Johanna's happy to finally be reunited with her little sister Kim ;)

Now she just needs some clothes!

I only just noticed that on the last two pictures Johanna's dress went down South... Haha. Can't be arsed to take pictures again when Kim's standing next to her in the nude anyway ;)

hahaha, I'm sure Johanna was just trying to make her nude sister feel more comfortable LOL. My goodness that IS a lot of hair - she looks really lovely like that! You keep tempting me to do this with some of my little pullip - except then their little costumes won't fit them anymore!

I don't care about their little bodies and outfits at all, with an Obitsu they're normal sized dolls and I love them :D. Since I also received Little Pullip Rovam on the same day Seine came, I'll be creating Johanna and Kim a cousin soon lol, but I need to clean the last Obitsu I have first. I tried blushing it a while ago and failed miserably lol.

Plus, a Little Pullip Dormouse is on her way... haha I think I'm addicted to these hybrid girls.

They are both so cute! I must resist the temptation to start buying yet another type of doll.

You make the cutest hybrids! <3
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

Thanks! I had NO idea she'd turn out this cute, I thought she's have like shoulder-length hair or something..! I love her, she reminds me of a mermaid <3. Think I'm gonna make her a long simple strapless dress to begin with :)

I made Kim a simple dress. The pink matches with her older sister's outfit, hehe! :)

Oh, by the way, for those who want to see more Little Pullip hybrids, I have a Flickr group full of them:

What did you use to remove the glue residue? I need to wash out some of my Bratz hair... it's so nasty. ><

Make her a mermaid fin! :D Of fabric, like the one my Ariel came with back when the movie came out. I bet she'd look great with it. And then she'd have a costume for a Halloween photostory.

You make me want to try this lol though I don't think I would because I already have a big one so it would be awkward
