My min pin mix was a shelter dog, and we love him to death. He was pretty pitiful when he was at the shelter, cracked and missing teeth, as well as having a limp. Shelter fixed his teeth right before we brought him home, and turned out the limp was from sitting in the shelter for months on end. Now we have the cutest spunky pup ever! <3

Is there some rule that requires IT and tel-com companies to change their names every few years to something even more stupid and meaningless than they already are? Earlier this year, Comcast started phasing in the name "xfinity" for their on-line services, even though it sounds like it should be a porn site. Of course, there was the recent announcement that Netflix would start using "Qwikster" for its DVD by mail service AND THEN, on Monday, my wireless provider (I guess we're not supposed to say "cell phone company" anymore) started calling itself "C Spire".

Ugh! I guess next they'll start referring to themselves by unreadable, unpronounceable glyphs or something.

My Japanese professor told me I have to go on the study abroad trip next summer. XD May as well, but that means cutting back on my doll purchases. Normally I'd be like "Ah hell nah!" but my sister reminded me that if I save now, I can splurge in Japan on doll stuff.

That's totally sweet! I would love to go to Japan someday. One downside is I hate airports. XD
