I do want to sell my CH Hani girl (although GH is attempting to get me to turn her into a centaur - LOL), but something is happening over at DoA that I don't understand. In the 2 days since placing her for sale over there I've had no less than 6 people indicate interest in her. Only no one is willing (or able perhaps) to commit. I've been asked to hold her with no deposit - for as much as 2 weeks!! Or they want to know what "extras" I'm willing to give them. Or they want me to cut them a deal on the price already. Or lowball the price for customs.

Hey, I understand the problems the economy has caused. It's hit me too - thus the reason for placing the doll up for sale. But I don't understand anyone thinking someone would be willing to risk losing an immediate sale for the uncertain promise of a sale sometime in the future.

Kirahfaye: It's all part of selling stuff on DoA apparently. I had some seriously ridiculous trade offers, as well as a rudely constructed request for a lower price for a doll head I put up for sale. O_o

But it's nothing to worry about because some sane offers did show up and I ended up selling the head for my asking price anyway. Just civilly turn down the ridiculous requests and all is good.

It just struck me odd because I've sold many things there including a doll and it's is the first time I've experienced something like this. LOL.

Mind you I've succeeded in getting some deals of late that were like steals - but they were all posted by the seller, I didn't ask them to make any concessions for me. Although the lady selling me the chocolate oD said I didn't need to put a deposit down, she'd wait until I get tomorrow So nice!

I recently had a dream that totally dragged up an old show from like......1995ish? (something like that.... I was 15ish, then) that was called Ronin Warriors [URL REMOVED 8/30/2012 DUE TO MALWARE AT DESTINATION] if any of the peeps around my age need a memory jog o_O)

I hadn't thought about it at all in over 15 years and all but forgot it's existence... and randomly, in my dream, I watched one of the dudes (lol it was Cye for those that remember the show x_X) carrying a grocery bag of groceries with a TacoBell logo printed on the front of the bag o_O;
I know everything in dreams is a symbol for something else, just the subconsciousness using your memory as a database for "flash cards" of imagery to use to try to get it's point across, but........ seriously? wtf am I supposed to do with that? roflmao...Cye + Taco bell. Blue tacos.... watery tacos.... English accented tacos? ......? o_O
I KNOW, A 'TORRENT' OF TACOS. *protects face for bad pun*

Now I'm rewatching the show over again.... and loling over how many dubbing mistakes there are (like the same line repeated one right after the other in the same few seconds/image o_O Ryo apparently likes to repeat himself, roflmao. Audio editing faaaiilll). And collecting 36438643829 comp wallpapers... and trying to find the OAVs... and wondering wtf spurred on Cye + Tacobell. o_O

Now I want to go looking for the old action figures on ebay... OTL

Wewt, I think I got a wee bit of my photographing groove back...

I changed Hito's clothes and wig (I changed it back when done, cause I didn't want the other wig to stain him, being a black wig) and boom.
Though, I turned him into Xieu, a character of mine, for the time while taking a few pictars. I left him in the hanfu I had commissioned by EGK awhile ago since it was such a handful to put on, with the 6 layers @_@ So very Xieu it is. The black wig was originally Raven's hair... but it worked really well to match the drawn Xieu's hair o.o Not perfect, but a 'sorta' likeness...
I think next time, I'm going to put the blonde wig I have (it was the DZ Floy wig that I bought online separately from somewhere) on Seth (Migidoll Ryu) or Efriete (MD Miho) and call it Tien.... htought Tien wears a blue hanfu OTL
Maybe when I sell some things I'll commission a second hanfu from someone...
and I need to find an "official" Tien that I'd want o_O even just to list... But I can't really find one that matches poor Tien...

I'm still after that DR Xiao Chi as an official Xieu, though =_=
Hito has the smirky, gunna get in trouble look, but he also has something that says "rambuncious/loud", in his face... the DR Xiao Chi has the smirk, but more of a quiet elegance that Xieu has... quiet, causes trouble without thinking.... but so blunt you could break a brick with his words x.x

My DIM boy, Ryo, is yellowed. o_O

Not that this is a problem, he was from that reeeeeally pink 2007 resin batch. Like, I opened the box and my first thought was WOW that's pink. I'd been wondering if I'd just acclimated to the color, not having any other NS dolls around, but I finally picked him up, opened up his headcap and compared the resin inside the cap to his face and arms and yep, definitely yellowed. ....So, instead of omg pink he's a nice normal flesh color. So this is a good thing. XD Though definitely something to mention if I go through with selling this body and buying him one from Resinsoul. I'll have to strip him down and examine him in better light, I think.

And maybe find a way to display him out instead of worrying about keeping him out of the sun, because clearly it has done nothing. Whatever, I like the color he is now more. It just strikes me as odd that he'd have yellowed so much.

My Xavier is turning just slightly green, but I don't love him any less. I keep my dolls out of sunlight, like me, and have given up worrying about color change. We'd rather play
