You've Come a Long Way (Obitsu Henzel)

Postby BlackDragoon » Fri Oct 07, 2011 1:53 pm

My very first doll was a 47cm Obitsu with a Henzel head, her name is Tsukiko. Since then, she's always had the same name but she's changed faces and species yet her personality and name have not. Soon it became clear that her body didn't really match her character but there were still certain things I liked about it so the first mod was to give her, um, larger...tracts of land. I really only meant to just give her a medium sized bust but ended up going even bigger and giving her a DD large bust. I only succeeded in giving her more attitude!

"Jealous?"

Now I've made what I feel will probably be the last modification for her because I finally feel like she's perfect in every way. I ordered some new calf parts for her and a couple of other bits just in case but found that I didn't need to change her internal skeleton at all as everything was just long enough. Now she has the legs of a 47 and 55cm and also the hands because I discovered that they're a much nicer sculpt and still delicate and lady like enough xD Enough rambling and walls o text, to the pictures!

The Henzel head looks great all girlied up.

The additional acreage doesn't hurt either.

She looks wonderful. With those blue locks and red eyes, and larger acreage she looks an awful lot like KosMos...who is just your average combat android from Xenosaga....

I like my dolliehs a lot.
Actually, I like my dolliehs more than I like a lot of people I know in real life.
Is that bad? I think not!

She makes a great girl! Not so keen on the boy Hensels, but I love her as a girl.
I'm interested in her legs. You put 55 calves on with the 47 cm thighs? If that's what you did, were you able to use the 47 cm calf bones and just ordered the 55 outer parts?
Any chance we could see a good shot of the whole leg? I have a 47 girl with a mature bust (my Lucette), and I don't mind the big thighs but not crazy about the calves. So I would love to do that to mine if that's what you did.

I'm always happy to spread some Henzel love! I think they should have just sold it as a female sculpt to begin with, it might have had more success. Though all these Harukas floating around are really pushing me to buy one just to see what I could do with it...

Highlander: It's funny you mention Kosmos, I never really thought about that but she used to be a character I was obsessed with and I liked the Xenosaga games except for the part where you didn't get to play as much as you sat and watched cut-scenes :/ Perhaps I was thinking Kosmos in my subconscious when I put Tsukiko together O:

Cirquemom: Indeed that's what I did! I did order some extra of the plastic pole pieces just in case. Now the pole in the calf is just barely long enough with these new pieces to reach the socket down in the foot but because the vinyl is holding both the top and bottom so securely, there's no wiggling or chance that they will pop off (unless you pull the calf from the thigh with a little force, but the foot isn't going anywhere without a hair-dryer). Plus I love the curvy shape of them, they really couple well with the 47cm thighs :)

Thanks for posting that- it looks great and now I'm going to have to get Lucette some. She's pretty tired of her 47 cm cankles, lol.
