So true! Never say never in the doll hobby!

She looks really lovely and happy to have a new friend :) Brave you doing the eyechips - I've never tried to replace any in mine, but then Pullip, for me, are dolls that I buy because I like the entire package and don't want to change them - like a fullset resin hahahahaha

I've been eyeing Pullips for quite a while myself before I actually bought one. I always said I liked my dolls in proportion and I wasn't too fond of the big head, which is why I made Little Pullip hybrids. Oh, how things can change faaaast in the dollieh world...

It's funny how people's preferences can be so different. Many people want Pullips with their original eyes, hair, stock outfit, everything. I'm the opposite. I want to change EVERYTHING to make them all mine ^^. The only exception is the faceup, I'm not good at those so I won't change that. Although, I just bought a cheap customized Pullip just for that purpose. I wonder how she'll turn out lol...

I felt quite cool and proud once I had changed Natalie's eye chips and added lashes by the way, haha. Although the eye mechanism looks more complicated than it is. I still felt cool :P

Oooh, her new eyes and lashes are stunning! I also know what you mean about feeling proud that you changed them; after I changed my girl's eyes, I danced around the house.

I picked Aya for her face up and most of her stock... I love the outfit and her hair is gorgeous. I hadn't actually intended on changing her eyes but I had her head open and an extra pair, so... I want to get her a new wig now but that is because the quality of this one is very frustrating. :x

Haha I'm so happy you understand me! My boyfriend didn't! Hahahaha! I trained him to at least look at my dolls for one second when I ask him to and say "Very nice honey" or something along those lines, so at least he doesn't ignore my hobby completely XD

Aww, I'm sorry he didn't understand. My husband laughed at my dancing, but that's because he thinks I'm cute. He may not be very interested in my dolls, but he listens to my long rambles and acknowledges that their cute/pretty, if you like that sort of thing. I also let him stay up all night playing video games with his friends though, so I'd say we're both fortunate to be understanding and accepting of each others hobbies. I hope after more time together your boyfriend will be more understanding of yours. :D

Haha he's quite understanding actually, I think I bother him with my dolls too much though, haha. Just a few days ago he did say he loved the sparkle in my eyes when I'm talking about my job or my doll hobby :). He likes the fact that I have a passion, he just doesn't care much for the dolls themselves. BUT when I ask him "this wig or that wig?" he DOES think along with me!! :D And he helped me pose my big Obitsus when I was making a photostory and needed a hand. He did once scare me by putting eyes in one of my floating heads lol. I didn't expect them to be there, so when I picked the head up I got the heebiejeebies :D

Yesterday we celebrated our first kiss three years ago ;)
