Liv/ Moxie Teenz matches?

I recently found a couple of Livs at the thrift store. I'd like to know which Moxie Teenz match which Livs skintone-wise without bringing a naked doll into the store.

If I remember correctly, Moxie Teen Melrose matches LIV Daniela and Moxie Teen Tristen matches LIV.. oh crap.. I think Sophie.

Of course neither of those are the ones I got. I seem to have Katie and Alexis.

P.S.: I checked some old emails and the match I found for Tristen was Hayden, not Sophie... not that it's helping you much but I just thought I'd let you know

Alexis is inbetween Barbie's light and medium AA skin tone, Katie is between the light and medium (Fashionista) caucasian tones. My Hayden and Katie are very close to each other.

From what I can tell the new MT Leigh is very close to LG Katie. Katie is pale but has the slightest pink tone to her skin and that's very close to Leigh from what I can tell. Though one of my Tristen's also has a tiny pink cast to her skin. The other one is dead white. Hayden is the closest match for dead white Tristen but in a pinch a Sophie would do as those two are very close. Arizona is a bit lighter than most Alexis dolls. I don't think it's a real good match myself. Daniela does sometimes work with Melrose but again the match isn't near perfect.

Liv/MT dolls skin tones are just not constant. I have Alexis dolls and Daniela dolls that are completely different skin tones. Again it's the same with my two Tristen dolls and my two Melrose dolls. Neither is exactly the same shade even though they are the same character supposedly. The darker Daniela is really close to Melrose, but the lighter one really isn't. The lighter Alexis I have she could almost fit Arizona but not quite. The darker one, no way, but then again she's not dark enough for Bijou either, at least not the one my BFF has anyhow. She has the original Arizona and Bijou. I don't yet.

We've had all our MT/Liv gang together trying different match ups and it's not as easy as swapping Barbies I don't think. I like Liv dolls for Barbie swaps but at this point I'm into keeping the MT's on their original bodies because I just don't think the matchups are all that great and to me the heads look a bit big on Liv bodies. I'm not brave enough to take a $25 doll and shrink it's head. I don't mind the MT bodies all that much, but then I've been lucky with mine from what I've read here.

They looked pretty close in the picture I linked. I don't even have a MT yet since I need to get one that best matches the Livs I have. I have nothing against the MT body but I would want to use it for a Blythe knock off head.

Totally doable and it looks great. I'd go with a Moxie body if I wanted a second Blythe headed doll.

I finally got a Leigh so I could try one out. I put the heads side by side and the heads matched exactly! However after I put the Leigh head on I noticed the head was slightly darker, like she was wearing bronzer. Turns out my Katie had a slight mismatch from the beginning. Luckily it doesn't look too bad and "Leigh" is happy with her new body.

I even put Katie's head on the now headless Leigh body and they actually matched perfectly. It didn't look too bad and actually looks like normal human proportions. If I didn't prefer the big headed look I would be keeping them that way but anyways I already have future plans for that body.
