I had what I initially thought was a great idea for a continuing photo story. However, as I delve into the motives and background for some of the major plot points, none of it really makes much sense. It's more a collection of idea fragments and loose ends than anything coherent. Meh....

Keep the bits in a slush file...they come in handy sometimes!

Back to the subject of Twilight and that girl's e-mail to Universal.... The thing is, you never know if that stuff is real. Some people really are that flippin' clueless and some just have snarky senses of humor. I know someone who is allegedly the author of a satirical letter to the editor that found its way to the 'net and was eventually re-posted on Failblog as if was sincere. Same guy has also authored some other satirical op-ed pieces and news stories that, in spite of being utterly ridiculous and posted on humor sites, were picked up as "real" by some more ideologically driven websites. I got to read one e-mail where you could practically hear the whining and see the tears of rage when a reader realized he'd been fooled by some extremely silly article. He only concluded the story was fake when, after a couple of days, none of the "big" news sites or networks had bothered to mention it.
