This Iplehouse Ashanti was sent to me for some work....she had had a few faceups and it looks like she may have been soaked in acetone at one point. Some of the gouging in her resin was pretty deep and I wasn't too sure I'd be able to get them to "disappear" but I was willing to give it a shot. It was an interesting project and I learned a few things from it. Her flaws are still pretty much there if you know where to look, but the faceup and sealing that I did minimized them nicely. The white stuff around her nose was resin that was turning to powder from being so soft. Her owner is very happy with how she turned out and I feel braver for attempting these fixes that I've never done before. So here she is (click on the picture so you can see her better).......
