Raquelle Vs Raquelle...

When I am wrong I admit it and FYI, I was absolutely wrong in thinking that the new Asian Raquelle wasn't the same skin tone as the Rocker Raquelle that was a part of the first run of the Fashion Fever dolls that had the Fashionista hands. I put them together tonight and there is absolutely no difference at all. Same very light beige.

I was thinking that Rocker one was closer to say a Disney Princess or maybe a Sophie Liv but she's not. She's a good bit darker and definitely beige though much lighter than the standard Fashionista Barbie tan. You can probably use her to rebody a lot of Fashion Fever girls if you want, in fact my Rocker actually has a Theresa/Drew head on her now.

I'm not sure which FF she was originally. She's s got the Drew sculpt I think, but she's darker than most Drew's that I have. She's a lighter tan than most FF Theresa's though, and she has a Hispanic look to her. She's painted more like an older Theresa actually so I can't quite figure her out. She's almost like a cross between the two. My other FF Drew dolls they're freckle faced pale redheads.

You'll see her soon and she'll be next to Fashionista Raquelle. I just finished up dressing a lot of my favorite girls and my MT dolls for a little Christmas scene I want to do after Thanksgiving. I still have my Livs to do as well, but I'll be taking pics of the whole lot this week. I just wanted everyone in all their party gear before I went there.

Like I said I just finished dressing some for the Christmas scene I'm doing and you'll see them next to each other when I take my pic. The old one will be the one with the Theresa-Drew head and the new one will be the Asian looking girl right beside her. Sorry, I still have my Liv dolls to do and the tree to trim. I need to finish those before I can take pics of them all though. Right now they're all in a huge pile on my work table. I'm planning a big party scene for the day after Thanksgiving. Stay tuned, you'll see them then, but I don't want to spoil my Christmas tree scene by taking pics of them before and I'm not quite done yet! I still have to finish new Raq's lips too. I rather botched them and right now she looks worse than Pamela Anderson. She's not um presentable. lol.
