I'll start and say a huge sorry for not taking more quality pictures. We're leaving for a Thanksgiving family thing soon, but I couldn't WAIT to open the box!!!!
Introducing Abraham Elhaj Nuer from Juba, South Sudan. I'll update his biography next week.
Obligatory goodies photo! I don't know what the anime is there, but it looks really cute so I'll have to check it out. The Disney princess charm is adorable. *squee* I got Sleeping Beauty, one of my favorite cartoons, art wise.
My purchased obitsu body! WHO WILL BE A CHIBI NEXT????? And better horns for my Death Knight (who is still without armor. Angela craft-fail.)
The cuffs are so awesome. I've wanted a pair of those for so long! Emory always seems to send just the right thing. THANK YOU EMORY!!!!
I'm really impressed with the 70cm Resinsoul Feng. He is my 6th Resinsoul. (technically 4th if you count that 2 are Bobobie sculpt). He's long and lean which is what I needed for my African character. He isn't stretched in a way that makes him look gangly or awkward. I think he is nicely proportioned.
What's up with the elastic? It doesn't really need a re-string. It feels solid and strong. Not at all like the elastic in the other 5 I own. Did Dennis change elastic? I hope so, this is really nice. It's awesome actually.
I'm really impressed with the resin. The chocolate skin-tone is very smooth. There is a slight bit of clouding where his seam-lines were sanded, but it's not very noticable, and it isn't in areas that are painfully obvious.
I think the sculptor made a little measuring mistake on the face, the left eye and ear is offset. Well, so are MINE, so it isn't that big of a deal. Just something I noticed.
I definitely want to get the Long for my next character. This body is fantastic!!! The double-joints are great. The knees and elbows lock into place very well.
Ivan's jeans are a little big on this skinny boy. It's cute!
I love his arms and hands. They're so expressive.
And here are his new eyes. I had a darker brown but I like the way these chestnut brown eyes pop from the resin.
Thanks for looking!
