Great job Evelian. She looks super sweet esp with the highlight on her lower lids. Glad you were able to get rid of the smoker smell. I can't wait to see your new dolls coming in and how you dress them up.

Thanks! Means a lot, coming from you!

Getting rid of the smoker smell was much easier than expected: it wasn't in the resin at all. I'm so happy it was just in her elastics (or whatever they're called in English..?). I really wasn't looking forward to giving her a bath...

In December/January I'm expecting my Asleep Eidolon Blueberry (who I think will be a nice sister to Ellie, their sculpts have some similarities, but I hear the Blueberry head is a lot smaller, so I'll have to see about their proportions first). After that, no new dolls for me for a while. I paid for my Leira/Ellie with my creditcard, expecting to be able to pay her off this month, but salary administration screwed up and they made me pay waaay too much taxes this month, which means about $600 less than expected (!!) and yeah I'll get the money back on my tax return, but I need it NOW -_-. So that sucks big time...

Whoa! Thats a lot of money. I have an AE doll on layaway so I won't see her until after February. I chose a six month plan since that's what I can afford. AE dolls seem to have normal sized heads to me from their pictures. Bigger than dolls like Iplehouse who have more realistic proportions and smaller than the usual Volks anime type heads. I'm not sure about Angell-Studio dolls but you might eventually want to check out Dikadoll too. I'm not a big fan of the blocky type of body jointing that they have but the heads are super cute and not so expensive. I think a mini head is about $50 so a hybrid is definitely possible. I think there are a few more euro dealers these days so maybe it will be easier for you in the future to get your hands on some cuties. Your family is pretty huge though and as you said, no more dolliehs....but they are so addictive lol.

Haha, they definitely are, but since my resin girls are such a big investment I want to give them the attention they deserve. The past year I've been buying so many dolls... I need to sit down, take a deep breath and play with them all before I buy any new ones ;)

I heard that Angell Studio dolls have bigger heads than Asleep Eidolon dolls, so I'm a bit scared, but then again they wear the same wig size so how big can the difference really be..? I don't know... I'll see. They could also be cousins ;)

Salary administration has screwed up a few times already since I graduated and started working. Last month I finally got the normal amount of money I've been working for, so I was really happy I finally got it cleared up, until I received my paycheck for November. -_- I will get a BIG tax return next year, but in return I'm stressed out right now. Sigh.

Oh, btw... Ellie stole my Blueberry's wig. She didn't just borrow it... She claimed it. I'll need to think of a new look for the Blueberry girl that's on her way ;)

P.S.: I'll check out Dikadoll. And I'm not too fond of Euro dealers, they charge way too much. I prefer buying from outside of Europe and dealing with customs ;)

LOL - you've got Resinlove, that's all :) Don't worry though, you'll settle down and love your obitsu girls again as well :) Remember, you don't have to choose between them, you can have both! I have lots of both and I wouldn't swap away any of them :)

Mind you, don't let Leira spoil you - if I'm not mistaken Angell-Studio uses some really high end resin that has a translucent quality to it - you aren't going to see that in every resin doll! It might even be french resin, but I'm not sure on that.

Yep, she's French resin. :)

I know I don't have to choose, but honestly... holding my Obitsu girls doesn't feel the same :(. (Although they do pose a LOT easier)
