Sewing machines have scared the crap out of me ever since I saw my aunt put the needle through her finger on accident when I was a kid T__T

So I went to my local Walgreens today to get some Sour Punch Straws and I wandered over to the toy aisle to stare at the dolliehs like I always do... AND MONSTER HIGH GLOOM BEACH DOLLS WERE ON SALE FOR $7.49 :shock:

So I bought a Draculaura >_< They didn't have any of the other girls, just another Draculaura who had derp face and a wonky leg, and a Jackson.

AND THEN WHEN I GOT HOME, I HAD A BUNCH OF MAIL!!!

I had three packages. HUZZAH! One was some eyes, so Gear now has his "normal" eye in his left socket.

I got my packages today! I love my prize (not sure which character the Pinky Street doll is but he's adorable.) And Haruka and Kaname are happy with their new stuff. (Haruka can't keep out of the treasure chest. She hasn't stopped chanting 'money' since I brought it out.)

:l why you gotta put back an old fear I had too? Never saw anyone do it, I just knew it was possible.

I got over it when I realized one day I would like to use one, and also the pedal can go as fast as you press on it so you can do real slow speed stitching if you're worried about having the fabric fly through and taking your hand with it. Honestly, I think you have to be really NOT PAYING ATTENTION in order to stab yourself with one nowadays.

The only thing that worries me is my husband. He decided he wanted to try it and I'm just like "Please...no...just...leave it to me..."
