Dove's new Wig

I finally managed to take some pictures of Dove in her new wig, a Monique Gold Paige. I've been meaning to take some shots but between my brother's friends always hanging around and being tired from work (or just lazy) there hadn't been time.

The wig looks great on her though, and the color's absolutely beautiful with her skin tone. I'm really pleased with it, especially after how hard it was to find a good wig that I liked! And then I had trouble with the lighting, but fortunately they look better on the comp than they did on the little camera screen.

Such golden locks of hair! Argeed, it works great with her tan skin.

Lovely. It really brings out the gold tones of the tan resin. I know from experience it can be hard to bring out in pictures.

Thanks! The photos don't really do her justice, I was having trouble getting good lighting for the pictures. I feel lucky the close-ups came out at all. In person the way the colors play off each other gives her a nice warm look.

The gold was inspired by the sale thread when I bought her, she was wearing those eyes, had gold in her face-up, and I think she was wrapped in gold fabric. It's part of what initially grabbed me about her and I've run with it with her current face-up and hair.

She looks great! That new wig is fantastic on her and goes perfectly with her eyes. The pictures look good but I can only imagine how great she looks in person :) And I am still über jealous of that bat shirt.

Chocolate is such a pretty resin color, it's a shame it's so hard to make the darker resins.

And thanks, famedglory, I got lucky with the shirt, I bought it from a local doll collector who at the time made clothes to sell, I'm not sure if she still does. It's actually an SD size. XD But it fits over the long BBB ears without needing fasteners or needing to remove her head.
