A Doll's Christmas Carol

Postby Nko » Wed Dec 28, 2011 4:33 pm

Image..a bit late, I wanted to publish this for christmas but it wasn't ready yet!
This is my first attempt to make a photostory and it was supposed to be mute but then I added some comments. It's a revisitation of Dicken's Christmas Carol with my 1/6 girls: if Disney made it with cartoons why can't I do it with dolls? ^^'
Sorry if it's going to take some time to load..

Image
Mariko brings a Christmas wreath to miss Elisabeth Scrooge and invites her to celebrate Christmas with her...

Image
...but miss Scrooge hates Christmas and sends her colleague back to work telling her that wreaths don't not match the design of her office.

Image
Miss Scrooge goes home after work and reads a book before going to bed.

Image
Suddenly a small girl appears: she's the Ghost of Christmas Past...

Image
..."Come with me, I want to show you something!" she says.

Image
Ghost of Christmas Past shows Elisabeth herself as a little girl all alone reading in the classroom.

Image
Miss Scrooge is back home and thinks she dreamt...

Image
...but Ghost of Christmas Present appears! Elisabeth doesn't notice her and keeps on controlling if the phone still works after it fell on the floor.
"Ho Ho Ho!" Ghost of Christmas Present says.

Image
Miss Scrooge finally notices the Ghost: "OMG a Barbie that laughs like santa Clause!" she says. The laptop and phone fall again on the floor. "And what's all that food? - Elisabeth keeps asking - What about my diet?"
"Come with me, I want to show you something!" Ghost of Christmas Present says.

Image
Ghost of Christmas Present shows miss Scrooge her colleague that celabrates Christmas alone as her family lives far away.

Image
Miss Elisabeth Scrooge is at home once again and there seems to be a blackout.

Image
Then the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come appears but it says nothing.

Image
Then the Ghost shows Elisabeth something. Even if the it keeps on not saying anything miss Scrooge seems to understand very well.

Image
Elisabeth falls down of the couch. Did she dream?

The End!

Lovely <3. I really like your decors. Miss Scrooge's colleague's bed has the cutest duvet!

Thank you! The duvet was made by my mother for my Barbie's house some years ago (using my favourite colors! XD )

I love your photo story and the pictures were great. My favorite part was Miss Scrooge's comment about her diet. That got me laughing. I also like how you did the doll for Christmas Yet to Come...she looked eerie. :D

I think you almost have the Muppet Christmas Carol beat as my favorite rendition of this story! :P
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.
