Meh, I googled around a bit, but it seems like I'll really have to get the tacky glue. Darn. I was really hoping I could let it dry overnight and root the wig cap tomorrow :(

Make the wig cap from a thin stetchy sock or panty hose. I made the wig cap for Myri from stretch velour.

Awesome, thank you!!

Richila, did you use the plastic wrap with fabric and tacky glue method as well?

No, I just sewed the hair to the wig cap I made.

I mean, you didn't use tacky glue to make the wig cap at all..?
If you didn't, how did you make it? How did you make sure the shape would hold?

I just recently bought a little grab bag from the thrift shop and found a little Polly Pocket in it. She's bald however, but she does have both her cute blue shoes :)

YOU ROCK!!! 8-)

Some pictures of my new loot... I bought two little basic Polly packs and I received the 'Jet adventure' set, which includes two dolls with rooted hair. I think they look lovely! Not sure what I'll do with the uninteresting props and accessories that came with them though, lol... Btw, I do love the little sketch of the Polly girls in the booklet that came with them, bottom left corner:
