What annoys me by the way, is that on some new Pollys they have actual oil on their clothing and bodies?! Does anyone recognize this? Does the factory actually add oil between the dolls and their clothing or is it the rubber that gets sweaty..?

Unfortunately, most of the fashions that came with them were made for the older, slightly bigger body.

Blue haired Kerstie:

Her hair is REALLY icky. I don't know what's in it... Glue? Gel? The other rooted girls I have don't have this problem.

I'm waiting for another though, I think she has black hair, either that or it's a really dark brown.

it is really hit or miss with older Polly clothes on new Pollys. I was able to put the dresses from the Halloween old style ones on the newer style body but I think it is because they were sleeved dresses.

I've noticed that they're a bit too wide for the new body, whether they have sleeves or not, and it annoys me haha! I'm a nitpick. Is that the right word..?

I have to admit the dresses do look strange if I move their arms up or something but as long as they are just standing there it is okay I guess. I wish there was a way to make the outfits shrink since the Halloween ones for the new body style were superheroes instead of Halloween dresses.

Hmmm.. You could probably cut them apart and glue them back but it probably wouldn't look pretty XD

I read that you can shrink rubber silly bands by putting them in the dryer but I don't have any extra old style clothes to experiment to see if it works with Polly clothes. The only old style clothes I have I don't want to risk ruining.

Oh, I do, but I don't have a dryer! I only have a washing machine with centrifuge option...

-edit- Hey, a hairdryer might work, but I don't know how to put something heavy on a PP fashion.. lol

-edit2- Oh, if I'm understanding this correctly, the rubber will return to its original size once it cools down again... Bummer.

It doesn't seem to say that they will return to the original size. Especially since if rubber can be stretched out then it should be able to go back to the size it was before it was stretched.

I'm not sure I know what you mean, it seems the second sentence is contradicting the first but it might be my English..?
