I know about Junky Spot. I'm looking for something second hand.

They are very new though... I don't think you'll be able to find many second hand at the moment...

As the Fed-Ex saga ends we have wrong people, wrong address, big arse hole in the box, unsafe fold away bed that doesn't unfold or lock it's legs in place, and Wal-Mart being wonderful with returns. I will continue to sleep on a piece of foam on the floor and put the money towards Dr Elebenty whom I don't expect to be due until March which means I'll get the E-Mail to pay for him tomorrow.

First world problems.

Hmm. I would suggest the following: six cinderblocks, one or two plain hollow-core doors, and a memory foam mattress. 5 inch is what we have and it is insanely comfortable and does not need box springs, just a firm support.

Hi DollyKim. For years I slept on a mattress on the floor and had little furniture. Makes it easy when one moves. If you belong to Junky Spot forum perhaps you could ask around if anyone is selling anything.

Thanks guys, I have a memory foam mattress in the pile on the floor. My thoughts were for a folding bead or one I could move easily because I'm contained to one bedroom and if the bed gets out of the way I have room on the floor to lay quilts and big art projects out. Now that a doctor has figured the root of many of my back problems is the bamboo spine condition in my lower back I'm thinking higher off the floor would be easier on me.

Some of it is wanting a "brand new" bed as well, especially if I've bought it myself, and the foam mattresses are the first non hand me down non used but sanitized used ones I've had since my toddler bed. I did have plans on getting the Ashley Dollhouse bedroom set, I've never had a matching set in my life but I'd still keep a couple pieces I have and paint to match, but the money that would have gone for that is tied up for now (will be taken care of soon but can't talk about it). If I ever get the money I'm undecided now if I want to get the bedroom set.

After sleeping on the thoughts I'm going to save up a bit longer for a nice loft storage bed and just make my self make a place for it. Got to remind myself to be happy to be in a place where the house doesn't shake, the floors don't sink, and we have a second bathroom.

Hi guys. I know I've been kind of absent lately. I haven't been feeling super but I'm trying to drag myself out of it. Not much I can do about the rheumatoid arthritis. But back in July I was put on cymbalta for pain and crazy :P . I had to come off of it over Christmas because it basically screwed up my endocrine system. I was having lady problems and worst of all it was causing my glucose and A1C to go into the danger zone, no matter what I ate. I'm type 2 and not quite ready for insulin yet. So my GP wanted me off of it asap. The psych doc who prescribed it fought it, blamed me for the glucose issues: "Have you gained weight?" uh, NO. Still the same weight I've been for five years now. "You're probably just going through menopause." Really? Because the bloodwork I had done says I'm not. Anyway, I've been having to titrate down 10 mg every 10 days. Luckily no problems with any kind of discontinuation syndrome and tomorrow is my final day on the lowest dose. My glucose has already dropped within normal ranges and my lady problems have...er...resolved. XD
Anyway, an added bonus was the entire time I was on it I was like, zombiefied. And it's nice to have that fade. So while the last few months have been sucking I think I'm normalizing. Well, normal for me. So, long story short, (I know, too late) I'm baaaaaaack! :p
