The weather: has nature gone MADh?!

I heard the same things. Appearently we might get -13C and today was snowing! But the snow didn't last. It melted and then started raining.

We will get -4C or something... I wonder what'll happen... I'd really rather not go to work on Monday morning having to walk instead of ride my bike.

We do say in this part of the US that if you don't like the weather, just wait a minute & it'll change. Even so, the weather this winter has been weird here in OK, too. The drought we got hit with last summer has kept on through autumn and winter -- spectacular fall color because of the dry, sunny conditions, but I would rather have seen more rain than we got. It's been warmer than usual so far in Dec. & Jan. & the precip we usually get this time of year hasn't happened for the most part. There's an arctic front coming in tonight, with a *slight* chance of flurries, but I doubt there'll be much, if at all. The air's just too dry and the ground still too warm, and it's going to be back in the 60's by the weekend. Don't even want to think of what summer will bring -- more triple digits & dead landscaping, I'm sure.

Seriously, we'd take all your rain & more. Last year was disastrous for the farmers and ranchers here. The situation's even worse south of us in Texas.

I would if I could!! I didn't go on a vacation anywhere this Summer due to lack of funds, so some sun would have been nice . I love doing bike rides through nature when the weather is nice, but this Summer I spent my well deserved free time (right after graduation) indoors

Today, the weather flipped out and started snowing. For hours.

Ugh, my school bus has turned into a big yellow toboggan. Damn you snow.

It's been in the 40-50F range since the last snow storm.
Tonight we're expecting a sudden drop to 20F which will supposedly cause all this rain to turn to ice followed by snow. The best part? It'll be just in time to drive to work! Yay!

By Monday it should be back up in the 40's again. We're all over the place here.
