So did I!!! Thanks for that heads up. I would have never known Tonner was having a major sale and I've been wanting Arwen ever since I first saw her! I wished I could have afforded Strider too, but I also got Andy Mills, and I just couldn't do 3. He's been another major want. (Many thanks to my folks who allowed me to charge it on their card and call it a very early birthday present!) Also, earlier today I found the the Basics Lara/Drew redhead in the swimsuit for $12 at Target, damaged box, no stand. I am so totally happy right now!!!!!

I heard about it on TonnerDirect's facebook page. I really wanted Andromeda too (I'm sure I spelled that wrong), but she was already sold out. I looked at Andy Mills but decided to pass on it.

A not so little but awesome thing.... I WILL BE MOBILE AGAIN! After the fiasco that this summer turned out to be, and the disappointment of not getting my car, I'm so glad to be able to drive again. My fiance's car has been sitting in the driveway for almost a year, with a cracked head-gasket. He ordered a replacement part, but it turned out to be the wrong one, and the seller wouldn't exchange it for us unless we paid the shipping on it.... which really blew, because their listing said specifically my fiance's car... but finally, he got the right part, and got the car fixed. He's renewing the registration on it tomorrow, it has a new battery, and he's getting new tires at the end of the week. Just in time for my doll meet this Saturday lol

Wikipedia is joining the protest against SOPA/PIPA by going dark tomorrow. Whether or not Congress cares, hopefully it should raise awareness.

Either tomorrow or Thursday I am going to take Ariel apart, take out all his old hot glue, scrub him down with magic eraser, give him new hot glue sueding, re-paint his fingernails if I can find my darn gloss, and put him back together. and one by one I am going to do the same with all of my dolls. And I am excited.

Once we get back to Spring I'm going to give everyone new faces too, boy do they need it.

Oh we did.... but it doesn't help us in getting his $250 back. x.x By the time we realized it was the wrong part, it was too late to open a Paypal dispute. But it's ok, car is fixed now. Tires will be replaced and then it will be drivable. XD

Google is contemplating it, but they haven't released an official yes or no. They have committed to putting a special awareness/protest message on their home page.

I'd thought I'd read that they weren't going dark, but they were posting some kind of protest in solidarity with the sites that were? Cause really, none of the sites I know of that are going dark are as vital as Google...though maybe if just the search engine or something went dark but not other things. I can see Gmail going dark being disasterous for a lot of people in a lot of ways.
