I've been wanting to make my bobobbie girl move better. So she's not so loose, pulling the strings tighter didn't work. Anyway, I want to know which type of hot glue to use. Do I use low temp? High temp? or Multi temp?

Once she can pose better I'll be able to share pics of her more often.

Generally speaking just pulling the elastic tighter on a Bobobie doesn't work because the type of elastic they use is too springy. What you want to do is buy some elastic made for dolls and restring (it's not as scarey as it sounds). Junkyspot sells restringing kits for 1/4 and 1/3 size, or you can buy the elastic from CRs Crafts http://www.crscraft.com/ by the yard. There are other suppliers as well, but some of them are overseas so check for regular doll suppliers first. You can try your craft store, but I guarantee the stuff they sell is NOT doll quality and will be too loose to work - take this from experience!

And Almysidakay is correct - lowest temp hot glue possible.

Okay thanks. I'll see if I can restring her first then. Then use the low temp glue gun if I have to. I've taken her apart before just never changed the string. Thanks for the tip.

If your girl is older then about 6 months their string is not nearly as good as the stuff they have been putting in the new dolls. At least from what I've seen.

Yea she's older then 6 months I've had for alittle over a year now. So I guess a restringing is in order any way.
