it is almost like someone in China thought, "Why don't the Moxie Girlz have inset eyes like the the Moxie Teenz? We should make them!" I have thought the same thing on occasion and I was considering making eye holes on a Moxie Girlz head and putting it on an articulated Bratz body to make a little sister but maybe I won't need to make one into an eyehole head after all. If I can get a hold of one of these I'll only need to worry about finding a body.

MGA is going to be coming out with articulated bodies for the Moxie Girlz. That might work better for these.

I don't know... it's just the box and the inset eyes that make them obvious clones. Their face mold doesn't remind me of either the Moxie Teenz/Girls or LIV dolls.

Which likely means the face mold is original, even if it's clearly a knock off of the popular dolls over here.

My question is if her face would pass for a younger sister to a Moxie Teenz.

I never seen a Moxie Teen "in the flesh" but I think she can... I can debox her without further waiting and post more decent photos if you think it can help you decide!

Yes, can you please take better pictures? ^^ I've googled a few times and can hardly find any info about these girls, let alone pictures.

Btw, I agree with the younger-sister-to-a-Moxie-Teen idea.

I love her! I think that these are the best fakes I've seen in a long time. :)

As I promised, I'm posting more photo of my fake Moxie/Liv/Bratz clone just deboxed. Sorry for the bad light, but it's cloudy and I not want to wait for some good weather forever -_-

Image

She has a very tiny body, close to Bratz ones. The dress is cute, even if materials and sewing are second-rate, and hair is soft and shiny. I love in a special way this particular shade of reddish chestnut. The body is not articulated, the legs are rigid and even not "click" in the knee like Barbies one.

Image

Head is big, close to the heads of Witch/ Angels and Friends dolls (and maybe Bratz, unfortunately I don't have a Bratz to make confrontation) that make me sure that she will look better on a taller body.

Image

She has pierced ears, but no earrings.

She's really cute. I like her a lot actually. If you don't mind my asking which dollar store chain had them? I'd like to go check and see if I can't find one if they have them in my area. I'd love to put her on an MT body and add her to my MT gang.

Unfortunately the dollar store where she comes from is not a chain, is one of many little housewares and toys shop run by Chinese immigrants in my city... the box says she's distributed by General Trade, that's a company that import stuffs like toys, housewares and Xmas decoration from China, but I think this company is only Italian and this isn't very helpful... I think you just have to keep your eye peeled on fake toys...
