So I want to start crochet a hat for my BJD thing is she isn't here yet
so I figured I'd use my pullip for a modal so my question of the day is Do MSD sized BJD's and pullips have the same head size?
becuses I'd love to get started asap

No. Pullip heads are very large. My daughter's Miku head is larger than my SDs and the shape is completely different.

Agreed - you totally cannot use a Pullip as a guide for a standard BJD.

Do you know what the wig size is? I think starting with the wig size and throwing in a bit of give should work, it'll depend on how elastic your stitch is too.
